Rule 115
Committee on Information Technology
(1) There will be an information technology committee in the court to determine the necessary policy regarding the use of information technology in the courts and subordinate courts and to monitor the implementation of that policy.
(2) The constitution of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) Judges of the Court designated by the Chief Justice – the President (b) such other Judges of the Court as may be required by the Chief Justice-Members (c) one Chief Justice or Judge of the High Court designated by the Chief Justice – Member (d) Chief Registrar – Member (e) Registrar – Member (f) Director of Information Technology – Member (g) Sub-Registrar of Courts designated by the Chief Registrar-Member-Secretary (3) Information technology experts can be invited to the meeting of the committee as needed.
(4) The work, duties and rights of the committee under sub-rule (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) To formulate the necessary policy regarding making the overall work of the judiciary information technology friendly,
(b) Making structural arrangements necessary for the institutional development of information technology in courts and subordinate courts (c) Timely use and expansion of information technology in the administration of justice.
